The first round of the Champions' League is set to kickoff this Wednesday with 12 matches. Possibly the best matchup of the day will be in Group C where defending champions, Real Madrid, take on UEFA titleholders, Inter Milan. Inter will welcome back Brazilian striker Ronaldo who missed the team's lackluster 2-2 draw with Cagliari on Sunday due to a suspension. Real, who is currently tied for the lead in the Spanish Premier division, will be without World Cup top scorer, Davor Suker. In Group B, Serie A champs Juventus will face Galatasaray of Turkey. Juve could be without French World Cup hero, Zinedine Zidane, who injured his right knee over the weekend. Group D will feature England's Manchester United vs. Spanish club Barcelona. United will come into the match without any injury worries while Barcelona will be without Miguel Angel Nadal and Giovanni. In addition, Patrick Kluivert is ineligible for the first round opener. In Group E, Dennis Bergkamp will lead English champions, Arsenal, into battle with French league winners, RC Lens.
