NOTES:
Three races and 15 points, that's all that separates Ricky Stenhouse Jr and the Nationwide Series title. Easier said then done, as Elliott Sadler chases down Stenhouse heading into Texas.

Stenhouse has stepped up his efforts heading down the stretch, as he has posted six consecutive top-10 finishes, but his lead has shrunk to just 15 points over Sadler. In that same span, Sadler has five top-10s, but has placed third and fourth respectively the last two races to close the gap.

Last season, Brad Keselowski captured his first Nationwide Series championship with a third-place finish, while Carl Edwards denied Kyle Busch a record sixth straight win at Texas Motor Speedway by taking the 2010 running of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge. Keselowski gave team owner Roger Penske his first NASCAR national touring series championship. He also became the first Dodge driver in the series to win the title. Keselowski is in his first year driving a full- time Sprint Cup and Nationwide schedule for Penske.

After the final restart, Edwards pulled away from second-place Busch and then crossed the finish line 0.07 seconds ahead of Busch for his third victory of the 2010 season and the 28th of his career. Busch felt Edwards jumped the restart for the green-white-checkered finish too early. With his win in Charlotte three weeks ago, Edwards now totals 37 career wins, tying him for third on the all-time list with Kevin Harvick. Although not eligible for the title, both Edwards and Busch own eight wins this year.

In 2009, Busch once again dominated in the Lone Star state, as he accomplished the Texas two-step defeating Casey Mears by 3.154 seconds. Busch led six times for 179 of the 200 laps to win this race for the second straight year. With the win, Busch won for the fourth time and posted his ninth top-10 in ten races at TMS.

Although he did not start on the pole in 2008, Busch dominated the race, leading five times for 174 laps, as he defeated Edwards by less than half a second. Edwards started on the pole, but led only two laps. The win was the 21st of his 51 career Nationwide Series titles.

Back in 2007, Kevin Harvick made it three straight at TMS, as he led the final 35 laps to defeat Busch by 3.486 seconds and win the fall race for the third consecutive season.

In 2005, Harvick captured the inaugural O'Reilly Challenge for his 17th career Nationwide Series title. The win, his fourth of that campaign, was a nail biter, as he crossed the finish line just over two seconds ahead of Greg Biffle. Harvick reclaimed the lead on lap 168 and held on for the win. Pole sitter Ryan Newman finished a disappointing 16th, as he led four times for a total of 122 laps.

The Nationwide Series will run their second-to-last race of the season on November 12 at Phoenix International Raceway. Carl Edwards is the defending winner of the Wypall 200.
