Description: Brad Bergesen, who was recently designated for assignment by the Orioles and then claimed off waivers by Arizona, has been promoted to the major leagues. Bergesen has gone 4-3 with a 4.03 ERA in 22 appearances for Triple-A Norfolk (a Baltimore affiliate) this season.
Insight: Bergesen appeared in 12 games as a starter last season for Baltimore but Arizona is likely to use him in the bullpen rather than in the starting rotation. Unless someone gets injured and he becomes a starter, Bergesen's fantasy value will be extremely limited.
