Description: Mets starter Jenrry Mejia dominated the Nationals Friday in his season debut.
Insight: Elbow inflammation sidelined Mejia for the first three and a half months of the season. Making his seventh major league start, the righthander allowed seven hits in seven scoreless innings. He also had seven strikeouts (that's a lot of sevens). He's scheduled to throw again Wednesday against the Marlins.
