Description: Astros starter Scott Feldman matched zero for zero with Yu Darvish Friday night against the Rangers.
Insight: Feldman only has a 7/8 K/BB but he has permitted just seven hits and one earned run in 20 2/3 innings. A .119 BABIP is largely responsible for that.

Insight: Feldman signed a three-year, $30 million contract with the Astros this offseason after going 12-12 with a 3.86 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP in 181 2/3 innings with the Cubs and Orioles.

Description: Scott Feldman threw six innings, allowed six hits and two runs, walked none and struck out six in his Orioles debut Wednesday against the White Sox.
Insight: The O's acquired Feldman from the Chicago Cubs Tuesday. The right-hander went 7-6 with a 3.46 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP in 91 innings with the Cubbies. His ERA will likely rise pitching in the AL East, but he'll also win more games with the high-scoring Orioles.
7/2/2013 3:06:00 PM
Description: Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Scott Feldman has been traded to the Baltimore Orioles in a multi-player deal and is expected to start on Wednesday against the White Sox.
Insight: The former Texas Ranger had done well in his first and only season with the Cubs, contributing a 7-6 record with a 3.46 ERA in 15 starts. Given the Orioles ability to put runs on the board (410 vs. 330 for the Cubs), Feldman could accumlate a lot of wins as a starter in the Baltimore rotation.

Description: According to ESPN's Buster Olney, many teams are expected to target Chicago starting pitcher Scott Feldman at this year's trade deadline.
Insight: Olney named the Diamondbacks and Orioles as two teams that could be in the market for Feldman's services. The former Texas Ranger has done well in his first and possibly only season with the Cubs, contributing a 3.39 ERA in 14 starts.
6/15/2013 9:29:00 AM
Description: Cubs starter Scott Feldman improved to 6-5 with seven strong innings Saturday against the Mets.
Insight: Feldman allowed just two hits, walked one and gave up one run with six K. The right-hander has a 3.05 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP and has been a nice surprise this season after posting a 5.09 ERA last year.
5/30/2013 9:29:00 AM
Description: Cubs starter Scott Feldman is 5-4 with a 2.82 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP after beating the White Sox with six strong innings -- six hits, two runs, zero BB, seven K -- Wednesday afternoon.
Insight: Feldman's .254 BABIP and 3.92 FIP suggest he'll regress, but there's no denying he has been very good so far. The right-hander has a 16.5 percent line-drive rate and has struck out 7.57 batters per nine innings.
5/24/2013 10:22:00 PM
Description: Cubs starter Scott Feldman allowed seven hits and five earned runs in 5 1/3 innings Friday against the Reds.
Insight: Feldman allowed two homers in the game. The right-hander has a 2.80 ERA, but his .244 BABIP and 4.25 FIP suggest he'll regress.
5/18/2013 8:23:00 PM
Description: Cubs starter Scott Feldman scattered seven hits over 6 2/3 scoreless frames Saturday in a win over the Mets.
Insight: Feldman has been tremendous this year, going 4-3 with a 2.19 ERA in 49 1/3 innings. His 3.97 FIP suggests he'll regress once his .236 BABIP does, but he has been deserving of that BABIP due to his 14.5 percent line-drive rate, one of the best in baseball. The right-hander has stranded 76.9 percent of runners this season, up from 67.4 percent for his career.

Description: With Matt Garza close to returning from a lat injury, either Scott Feldman or Carlos Villanueva will have to move to the bullpen. SOURCE: Patrick Mooney, Comcast SportsNet Chicago
Insight: Feldman (3-3, 2.70 ERA) has certainly pitched well enough to stay in the rotation and he should have a chance to cement his spot with another good outing Sunday against the Nationals.

Insight: Wednesday was Feldman's first career complete game. In nine innings, Feldman surrendered just three hits and two earned runs. Feldman (2-3, 3.34 ERA) also produced a season-high 12 strikeouts during the victory.

Description: Cubs starting pitcher Scott Feldman (back) will have his start pushed back until next Saturday, according to beat writer Bruce Miles.
Insight: Feldman has pitched poorly in his first two outings, going 0-2 with a 6.00 ERA and 2.11 WHIP. He once won 17 games with the Rangers (2009), but that feels like ages ago. He has minimal fantasy value.
2/14/2013 4:14:00 PM
Description: Cubs manager Dale Sveum said Thursday that Scott Feldman will be in the starting rotation. SOURCE:
Insight: That leaves just one spot open in the starting five, with Matt Garza, Edwin Jackson, Jeff Samardzija and Feldman taking up the first four. Hot8/4/2012 9:20:00 PM
Description: Rangers righty Scott Feldman has won six straight decisions and three straight starts after beating Kansas City Saturday.
