Stanford shot 55 percent from the floor, limited Washington State to 39.1 percent and connected on 11-of-12 from the free-throw line in the first half. The Cardinal led 35-28 at the break.

The Cougars did not go quietly in the second half, claiming a 50-47 lead with just under 10 minutes to play. However, the Cardinal ripped off a 10-0 run from there and never looked back.
