(Saturday, January 5) Final Score: Wright State 53, Milwaukee 51 Dayton, OH (Sports Network) - Reggie Arceneaux led all scorers with 15 points as the Wright State Raiders remained unbeaten in Horizon League play with a 53-51 win over the Milwaukee Panthers at the Nutter Center. Cole Darling had 14 points for Wright State (11-4, 2-0 Horizon), which has won three consecutive games and six of their last seven. Matt Vest had a game-high four assists. Demetrius Harris registered a double-double for the Panthers (4-12, 0-2) with 14 points and 10 boards. Paris Gulley and Jordan Aaron scored 13 and 12 points, respectively, but they combined to shoot just 5-of-23 from the floor and Milwaukee led 28-23 at intermission thanks to a 9-of-11 showing from the foul line. The Raiders went without a free throw attempt in the first half. In a close second half, Wright State took a 51-49 lead with 2:16 remaining on Darling 3-pointer. After the Raiders added a pair of free throws, James Haarsma hit two from the stripe for Milwaukee to cut its deficit to two with 1:10 remaining. After an empty possession for Wright State, Aaron had an opportunity for a last-second shot but missed his jumper as time expired.
