(Saturday, February 16) Final Score: Louisiana Tech 67, Idaho 61 Moscow, ID (Sports Network) - Raheem Appleby exploded for 28 points as the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs posted a 67-61 win over the Idaho Vandals in Western Athletic Conference action at the Cowan Spectrum. Appleby converted 7-of-12 shots behind the 3-point line for the Bulldogs (23-3, 14-0 WAC) as they ran their win streak to 15 in a row, one of the longest in the nation. Kenyon McNeail came off the bench to post 11 points in just 16 minutes, while Kenneth Smith handed out a game-high 10 assists. The Vandals (9-16, 5-10), losers of four in a row, were paced by Kyle Barone with 19 points and eight boards, while Stephen Madison and Mansa Habeeb delivered 13 and 10 points, respectively. Mike McChristian came up a point shy of a double-double as he cleared a game-high 10 rebounds. LaTech came out flat in the first half, shooting only 8-of-25 from the floor, but with half of those conversions coming on the perimeter the visitors trailed by only six points at the break, 30-24. In the second half it was Idaho that struggled from the floor (9-of-23), while the Bulldogs made good on 8-of-14 beyond the arc in order to battle back and grab the win.
