NCAA Game Summary - Penn at Cornell (Friday, February 22) Final Score: Penn 79, Cornell 71 Ithaca, NY (Sports Network) - Behind a career-high 29 points from Tony Hicks, the Penn Quakers bested the Cornell Big Red, 79-71, in an Ivy League tilt at Newman Arena. Hicks shot 11-of-18 from the floor, including 5-of-6 from 3-point range for Penn (7-18, 4-4 Ivy), which has won back-to-back games for the first time all season. Miles Cartwright chipped in 15 points, nine assists and six rebounds for the visiting Quakers. For Cornell (13-13, 5-4), Nolan Cressler also netted a career-high with 22 points, while Shonn Miller and Dominick Scelfo added 15 points apiece. Galal Cancer dished out seven assists for the Big Red, who snapped a season-long three-game winning streak. Penn outshot Cornell from the field in the first half, 51.9 percent to 42.9 percent, but the Big Red drained seven 3-pointers and went 12-of-17 from the foul line in the high-scoring frame to take a 43-39 advantage into intermission. The Quakers took control of the game early in the second half with a 9-0 run. Cornell never got closer than six points of the lead in the final 10 minutes.
