Harrisonburg, VA (Sports Network) - Rayshawn Goins sunk a game-high 17 points in leading the James Madison Dukes to a 65-56 victory over the Blue Hose of Presbyterian in the CBE Classic at the JMU Convocation Center.

Julius Wells scored 14 points in the win for James Madison (3-1). Denzel Bowles and Humpty Hitchens rounded out the double-digit performers for the Dukes with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Presbyterian (1-4) was led by Al'Lonzo Coleman's 15 points, while Pierre Miller scored 11 points and Khalid Mutakabbir added 10.

James Madison took a 36-33 lead into the intermission after connecting on 53.6 percent of its field goals in the opening half.

The Dukes were able to secure the victory after connecting on 55.0 percent of their second half field goals while holding Presbyterian to a mediocre 39.1 percent from the floor.

James Madison used its strength under the basket to its advantage, out- rebounding Presbyterian 33-23 in the affair.
