| || Adam Scott was a playoff winner last year at the Byron Nelson
Championship. Scott, who has missed five straight cuts entering this week,
stumbled to a one-over 71 in the final round and was joined at seven-under
273 by Ryan Moore, who closed with back-to-back 68s. Scott ran home a 48-foot
birdie effort on the third playoff hole to grab his sixth PGA Tour title. For
Moore, the playoff loss matched his best career finish on the PGA Tour. The
2004 U.S. Amateur champ is still searching for his first PGA Tour crown. The
Golf Channel will have action from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. (et) Thursday and
Friday before handing off to CBS, which will have the same three-hour
timeslot the final two days.The PGA Tour completes its Texas three-step next
week with the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, where Phil Mickelson
defeated Tim Clark by a single stroke last year. Mickelson withdrew from this
week`s event due to the diagnosis of his wife Amy with breast cancer.
Mickelson has suspended his PGA TOUR schedule indefinitely.
