Tiger Woods was reported to be making his return to the PGA Tour at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but the man on hiatus, who will give you five minutes of his time, but no more, announced he will return at Augusta National for The Masters. It would have been fitting for Woods to come back at Bay Hill. It was here last year where Woods earned his first win since knee surgery following his epic 2008 U.S. Open victory. Woods sank a 15-foot birdie putt to trump Sean O`Hair by a stroke. It was his sixth win at this event. Bay Hill is owned by Arnold Palmer. The King is on hand every year, but in 2010, there will be some changes. Palmer oversaw a course renovation that began with new tees and new greens. Probably the most obvious change is in bunkering. There have been moved, made more visible and are closer to the greens. Bay Hill has been stretched to 7,381 yards and is back to a par of 72. Vijay Singh has withdrawn from the tournament due to a sore back. The Golf Channel will handle its traditional first two rounds, followed by NBC on the weekend. Next week is the Houston Open, the final tune-up before the season`s first major championship, The Masters. Paul Casey earned his first PGA Tour win in the United States last year in Houston.
