Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - An Andre Roberson put-back with 13 seconds left proved to be the game-winner as the sixth-seeded Colorado Buffaloes took down the third-seeded Oregon Ducks 63-62 in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Conference Tournament at Staples Center.
Carlon Brown led Colorado (21-11) with 18 points. Roberson tallied 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Buffaloes, who will take on California in the semifinals on Friday.
For Oregon (22-9), Tony Woods scored 14 points, Devoe Joseph put up 12 points, and Carlos Emory added 11 points off the bench.
Colorado shot an impressive 51.7 percent from the field in the first half, though it took just a 34-33 lead into the break.
The game remained close in the second half, and an 8-0 Oregon run tied the game at 58-58 with 3:37 to play. An Emory bucket pushed the run to 10-0 and gave the Ducks their first lead of the second half, 60-58. Oregon held the lead until the Robinson bucket put the Buffaloes up by one with 13 seconds to play. The Ducks had one last chance to take the lead, but Joseph's jumper was off the mark.
Colorado pulled off the win despite losing the rebounding battle, 43-29.
