=== Seahawks' Rice uncertain to face Bears ===
Renton, WA (Sports Network) - Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice is
listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears after
hurting his calf during Friday's practice.
Rice did not complete Friday's session due to the injury, of which the extent
is unknown along with his status for this weekend's matchup.
The sixth-year pro has played in all 11 contests for the Seahawks this season
after being limited to just 15 games over the past two years by a variety of
ailments, and leads the team with 37 catches and 524 receiving yards while
recording six touchdowns.
Nickel back Marcus Trufant, meanwhile, is considered doubtful to suit up
against the Bears after exiting Thursday's practice with a hamstring problem.
"At the end of practice (Thursday), Marcus felt (something in) his hamstring,
said head coach Pete Carroll. "He's got an issue there that we're going to
have to deal with. We put him down as doubtful. We're real surprised that
popped up. It's going to be hard for him to get back from that."
A pair of defensive starters, end Red Bryant and linebacker Leroy Hill, are
questionable as well after missing the entire week of practices. Bryant is
dealing with a foot injury, while Hill strained his calf during Sunday's 24-21
loss at Miami.
Running back Marshawn Lynch (back) is expected to play this week after putting
in full practices on Thursday and Friday.
