Description: Giants receiver Rueben Randle will have a tough time breaking out in 2014.
Insight: He was a hot sleeper during drafts, but does not seem to possess game-breaking abilities. Combined with the fact that New York's offensive line is in shambles and Eli is turning the ball over way too much, Randle will be no more than a WR4/5 early on in the season.

Description: Giants head coach Tom Coughlin praised third-year wideout Rueben Randle during his Saturday press conference.
Insight: Randle looked good on Friday against the Jets, running a sharp 15-yard route for a touchdown and displaying great field awareness by catching a 26-yard throw along the sideline. If Eli Manning can ever get a hold of the new offense, Randle could be a great value pickup in a middle round.

Description: New York wideout Rueben Randle left Sunday's game against the Redskins with a knee injury and will not return.
Insight: He had been questionable heading into the game with a bad knee. With Victor Cruz out for the season and Randle now sidelined, we expect a heavy dose of Jerrel Jernigan.

Description: New York wideout Rueben Randle is active for Sunday's season finale against Washington.
Insight: He had been questionable with a knee injury. With Victor Cruz out for the season, Randle should see plenty of targets in Week 17. He had three catches for 20 yards against the Redskins earlier this month.

Description: Giants receiver Rueben Randle (knee) practiced Friday, according to Jordan Raanan of the Newark Star-Ledger.
Insight: Randle's knee "flared up" and caused him to miss practice the last two days, but he insisted Thursday that he'll play in Week 17 against the Redskins. The second-year receiver has 41 catches, 611 yards and six scores this season. He saw nine targets in Week 16 with Victor Cruz out but only had four catches for 40 yards. Fantasy owners shouldn't trust any Giants receivers in Week 17.

Description: Early indications are that wide receiver Rueben Randle has grabbed the upper hand as the Giants No.3 receiver, according to a New York Daily News report.
Insight: Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride has been praising his work. Given the injury-prone status to Hakeem Nicks over the past two seasons, the No. 3 spot could have significant fantasy value. Randle is battling with Ramses Barden abd Louis Murphy for the role.

Description: The battle for the No. 3 receiving spot with the Giants could have fantasy significance.
Insight: Rueben Randle, Ramses Barden or Louis Murphy could end up with significant fantasy value if Nicks can't play (he's never played a full 16-game schedule) or the Giants and Victor Cruz can't come to an agreement that keeps him on the field.
6/22/2012 11:57:00 AM
Description: The battle for the No. 3 receiving spot with the Giants could have fantasy significance as Hakeem Nicks has never played a 16-game schedule and is already missing practice time.
Insight: If Randle is to be that guy over Domenik Hixon and Ramses Barden, he's going to have to learn the offense quickly. Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride recently was quoted as saying "Randle is still figuring out the pro game."
