Gomes only hit .204 in the majors last season but he showed tons of potential during his 79 games in Triple-A (.328, 13 HR, 59 RBI). His eligibility at multiple positions (he played games at first base, third base, catcher and left field last season) makes him an intriguing fantasy possibility.
