Insight: If it is any consolation for Hernandez owners, that one out was a strikeout. Hernandez faced nine batters, allowing five hits, two walks and recoding just one out. He did force a grounder in the fourth at-bat of the game, but he committed an error, which allowed two runners to score. All the runs, however, still counted as earned. With this start, Hernandez's ERA jumped from 2.51 to 3.38, but he is still 9-3 with a 1.04 WHIP and 82 strikeouts in 82 2/3 innings this year.

Insight: Seattle won and Oakland lost on Saturday as the Mariners stayed alive in the wild card chase. The Mariners send King Felix to the mound after he gave up eight runs to the Blue Jays on Tuesday. Hernandez told that he has put the game behind him and that he is going to "Keep fighting, it won't happen again." We wouldn't count on two rough starts in a row from King Felix.
