Description: If the Diamondbacks are seeking a little more pop in their lineup, Reno Aces first baseman Randy Ruiz might be the answer. Ruiz is currently batting .337 with 13 HR, 52 RBI and a 1.025 OPS in 46 games.
Insight: Until Arizona first baseman Paul Goldschmidt began to pick it up over the past two weeks (.387, 2 HR) there was probably some thought to bringing Ruiz to the big club. Ruiz stuggled in a short major league stint in 2010 with Toronto, but in 2009 batted .313 with 10 homers in just 33 games with the Blue Jays.
