Description: Carloz Ruiz's agent claims his client has been offered a two-year, $20 million contract, though it's unclear which team made the offer. SOURCE: Buster Olney, ESPN
Insight: The Red Sox and Rockies can safely be ruled out as both teams have come out in the last 24 hours and said that they did not offer Ruiz $20 million. That means the offer probably came from either the Phillies or the Blue Jays. Given his age and lack of productivity in 2013 (.268, 5 HR, 37 RBI), this will probably be the best offer Ruiz receivers this winter. Expect him to make a decision soon.
