Description: It was a tough afternoon for Darnell McDonald. After entering the game as a pinch-runner in the eighth inning, McDonald went 1-4 and hit into a game-ending double play in the 17th inning. McDonald also pitched in that inning, giving up the game-winning home run to Orioles outfielder Adam Jones.
Insight: Thankfully for fantasy owners, McDonald's miserable pitching performance (1 IP, 2 H, 2 BB, 3 ER) won't affect his fantasy stats because he is only eligible as an outfielder. McDonald is only owned in 0.1 percent of ESPN leagues so odds are, the 1-4 effort probably didn't affect you much either.
