San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Meghan Stasi and Liz Waynick both won a pair of matches on Wednesday to advance to Thursday's final at the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship.

Stasi, Stasi, a 3-time winner of this championship, defeated Andrea Kraus in the quarterfinals, 2 & 1, then advanced to the final with a 6 & 5 win over Laura Coble.

Meanwhile, Waynick beat 2004 champion Corey Weworski, 2 & 1 in the quarterfinals before taking down Stacy Dennis with a 5-foot par putt on the 20th hole.

Coble, the 2009 runner-up, took down Christina Proteau 5 & 4 while Dennis prevailed over Debbie Adams in 19 holes in the quarterfinals.
