The Warhawks would add two more touchdowns before the first quarter was over. The first was a two-yard touchdown pass from Browning to Kevin Steed. The second touchdown came in a less traditional manner as Ray Stovall recovered a fumble in the end zone by teammate R.J. Young after Young returned a Ponder interception 49 yards.

Tulane got on the scoreboard for the first time with a 54-yard field goal from Cairo Santos early in the second quarter.

A 29-yard passing touchdown from Browning to Hamm midway through the second quarter put ULM ahead 28-3.

Browning tossed yet another touchdown pass, this time a 38-yard strike to Tavarese Maye, as the Warhawks continued to dominate in the first half.

Edwards was responsible for the first score of the second half, running in from three yards out to stretch the ULM lead to 42-3 just two and a half minutes into the third quarter.

Just under two minutes later, ULM got into the end zone again, this time on a one-yard rushing touchdown from Monterrell Washington.

Darius Lively then returned an interception from Ponder six yards for a score as ULM's lead expanded to 56-3.

The Green Wave scored their first touchdown of the game early in the fourth quarter when Ponder connected with Ryan Grant for an 18-yard scoring strike.

ULM added another score on a 42-yard rushing touchdown from McNeal with just under three minutes left in regulation.
