Bombers extend Watson, Greaves
Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have extended the contracts of slotback Cory Watson and guard Chris Greaves.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
"We are very pleased to lock up two of our young, solid Canadian players for the foreseeable future," said Bombers general manager Joe Mack in a statement.
Watson had 35 catches for 344 yards with a touchdown in an injury-plagued 2012 season, his third with the club. He led the Bombers with 69 receptions in 2011.
Greaves started all 18 games at left guard last season, also his third with the team.
