Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Buck Pierce will make his return under center this weekend.

The club made it official on Wednesday, revealing that team doctors have cleared him for contact and he will make the start on Friday against the Toronto Argonauts.

Pierce has been sidelined since September 29, when he absorbed a helmet-to- helmet hit from Toronto linebacker Brandon Isaac.
