Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Jamil Wilson logged a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, helping the Marquette Golden Eagles edge out the Seton Hall Pirates, 67-66, in Big East Conference action at the Bradley Center.

Brian Oliver scored 15 points to lead the Pirates (10-7, 1-3), who have dropped three straight. Sterling Gibbs and Patrik Auda added 13 and 10 points, respectively, in the close loss.

The Golden Eagles started strong, shooting 56 percent from the field in the opening half. At the other end, the Pirates struggled at 34.8 percent and went into halftime trailing 40-26.

In the second half the Pirates turned things around with the help of their perimeter shooting, sinking 7-of-14 from long range. The Eagles, in turn, missed all ten 3-pointers they attempted, although they were able to make 9- of-10 free-throw attempts. Despite a 12-4 Seton Hall run in the final 2:22, the Eagles were able to hang on and close out the game at the charity stripe.

Marquette's bench gave it a serious boost, as those players accumulated 31 points. The Golden Eagles also relied heavily on their free-throw shooting, making 18-of-23 at the stripe.
