NCAA Game Summary - Ole Miss at Tennessee

Knoxville, TN (Sports Network) - Behind a career-high 32 points from Marshall Henderson, the Ole Miss Rebels ran past the Tennessee Volunteers, 92-74, in the SEC opener for both squads at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Henderson, the conference's leading scorer, shot 8-of-19 from the field and 13-of-14 from the foul line for Ole Miss (12-2, 1-0 SEC), which has won four in a row. Murphy Holloway (15 points, 12 rebounds) and Reginald Buckner (13 points, 15 rebounds) both tallied double-doubles, while Jarvis Summers added 16 points.

For Tennessee (8-5, 0-1), Jordan McRae netted 26 points and Jarnell Stokes recorded a double-double of his own with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Neither team shot especially well in the first half. Ole Miss made good on 41.9 percent of its field goal attempts, while Tennessee shot 13-of-37 (.351). The Rebels went into intermission with a 38-30 lead.

The Rebels' modest field goal percentage continued after halftime (.444), but they were able to pull away by making 26-of-30 from the foul line, effectively finishing off an outstanding 86.4 percent shooting night from the charity stripe (38-of-44).

Ole Miss held a commanding 47-32 advantage on the glass and scored 25 second- chance points.
