NCAA Game Summary - Wagner vs. Air Force

Santa Clara, CA (Sports Network) - Latif Rivers scored 21 points, as Wagner dropped Air Force, 72-61, as part of the Cable Car Classic at the Leavey Center.
Tyler Murray added 11 points for the Seahawks (9-3), while Naofall Folahan and Kenneth Ortiz each chipped in with 10 points. Wagner has now won two straight and four of its last five games.
The Falcons (6-4) were led by Mike Fitzgerald's 13 points. Kamryn Williams also notched double digits with 11 points, but Air Force dropped its second straight game.
While Air Force shot 50 percent from the field to just 40 percent for Wagner, Wagner took a slim, 29-28 lead into halftime by making three extra free- throws. After the break, the Seahawks picked up their three-point shooting, connecting on 7-of-15 from beyond the arc and held the Falcons to just 36.8 percent from the field and 4-of-8 from long range. The Seahawks pushed their lead to as many as 17 points midway through the second half and were able to secure the victory and move on to play the winner of the Eastern Michigan- Santa Clara in the championship game of the tournament.
Wagner finished the game a perfect 20-of-20 from the free-throw line and was able to convert 16 offensive rebounds into 17 second chance points. Air Force's bench outscored Wagner's reserves, 22-11.
