Oral Roberts (1-2) had two others finish in double figures, as Michael Craion and Steven Roundtree posted 17 and 11 points, respectively. Arkansas-Pine Bluff (0-2) was led in the scoring column by Savalace Townsend, who netted 16 points, on 5-of-8 shooting. The Golden Eagles shot 47.8 percent from the floor in the first half, taking a 33-15 lead into halftime. ORU turned up the heat over the final 20 minutes of action, shooting a scorching 57.1 percent from the floor. ORU held the Golden Lions to just 40 percent shooting in the game, forced 20 turnovers and recorded a season-high 14 steals in the lopsided win.
