Stillwater, OK (Sports Network) - Jean-Paul Olukemi scored 15 points to lead the Oklahoma State Cowboys to a 73-46 victory over the Arkansas Pine Bluff Golden Lions in an NIT Season Tip-Off matchup at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Brian Williams added 12 points off the bench for Oklahoma State (2-0), while Markel Brown finished with a double-double of 11 points and 10 boards. Keiton Page tallied 10 points in the win.
Savalace Townsend was the only player in double-figures for UAPB (0-1), as the guard finished with 12 points behind a 5-of-16 clip from the field.
The Cowboys held the Golden Lions to a weak 27.3 percent shooting display in the first half, and because of that they went into the break with a 31-24 lead.
Oklahoma State pulled away in the second half by posting a 51.6 percent shooting effort, en route to the win.
