Harrisonburg, VA (Sports Network) - Darryl Shazier led Bucknell with 16 points, five rebounds and five assists in a 71-47 win over Presbyterian during the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic at the Convocation Center.
Bryan Cohen netted 10 points and seven rebounds for Bucknell (2-3), which bounced back from Saturday's 68-67 loss to St. Francis-Pa.
Khalid Mutakabbir put up a team-high 13 points for The Blue Hose (1-3), whose lone win came off a one-point victory over Eastern Kentucky on Saturday. Ryan Hargrave had eight points in the loss.
The game's first nine points were scored by Bucknell and it extended the lead to 21-8 midway through the first half when Cameron Ayers drilled a three pointer.
Bucknell doubled Presbyterian's score, 40-20, at the half.
Presbyterian never got within striking distance as it shot only 32.7 percent from the field during the second half. Bucknell cruised to the win making 50.9 percent of its shots.
