Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Walt Gibler and Geoff McCammon posted 20 points apiece as the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers scored a 79-57 win over the Broncs of Texas-Pan American as part of the Nick Kladis Classic at the Gentile Center.
Also scoring in double figures for the Ramblers (3-0) was Jordan Hicks who tallied 10 points in the triumph.
The Broncs (1-2) were paced by Perry Petty and Julius Hearn who scored nine points apiece in the setback.
UTPA held an early two-point lead in the first half, but the squad's 26.7 percent shooting from the field in the period allowed the Ramblers to put up a 37-21 lead at the break.
In the second half Loyola moved out to a commanding 28-point lead before settling in for the 22-point victory.
