Grey Cup Final with a 34-29 victory over the defending champion British
Columbia Lions in the West Division Final Sunday at BC Place.
Glenn will get his chance to play in a Grey Cup Final after an injury in the
2007 East Final while with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers cost him the start that
season.

rushing touchdown for the Stampeders, who will be looking for their seventh
Grey Cup title when they face the East champion Toronto Argonauts at Rogers
Centre next Sunday.
Maurice Price caught seven passes for 117 yards and a major for Calgary, while
Marquay McDaniel hauled in three balls for 104 yards and a score. Romby
Bryant, who caught the game-winning touchdown pass in last week's win over the
Saskatchewan Roughriders, also contributed a touchdown catch in the victory.
Travis Lulay completed 33-of-46 passes for 274 yards and a touchdown, while
Nick Moore added eight catches for 79 yards and a score for the Lions,
who were looking to go to back-to-back Grey Cup Finals for the first time in
franchise history.
Paul McCallum booted five field goals in the setback.
Calgary got the ball to begin the contest and wasted no time taking the lead.
Just two plays into the game, Glenn hooked up with a wide-open McDaniel for a
68-yard touchdown, putting the visitors up 7-0 early.
Calgary began its third possession of the contest on the 30 and moved the ball
into BC territory to the 41. The Stamps appeared poised to score, but Glenn
fired one over the middle that was picked off by Kory Banks, who returned it
77 yards for a major, tying the game.
The Stamps bounced back on their next touch as Glenn led a 7-play, 75-yard
drive before capping the march with a 29-yard touchdown strike to Price for a
14-7 lead late in the opening frame.
The Lions answered with a 12-play, 48-yard drive which was capped by a 35-
yarder off the leg of McCallum, pulling the Lions within 14-10.
Rene Paredes and McCallum exchanged field goals of 16 and 18 yards,
respectively, on the next two drives and McCallum banged his third field of
the day through the uprights from 41 yards with four seconds on the clock,
pulling BC within 17-16 at halftime.
The Stampeders extended their lead to 24-16 on their second possession of the
third quarter as Glenn connected with a streaking Bryant down the right
sideline for a 57-yard TD strike.
Facing third down on the next Calgary touch, Mitchell hit a wide-open Anthony
Parker for 42 yards down to the BC goal line. After two unsuccessful runs from
the goal line, Mitchell finally extended the ball across the goal line for the
touchdown, putting the Stamps up 31-16 late in the third quarter.
Two more McCallum field goals made it a 31-22 game with less than eight
minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
Following McCallum's 45-yarder with 7:47 left, the Stamps took precious time
off the clock with a 7-play, 62-yard drive that ate up 4:14 of the clock.
Paredes capped the trek with a 20-yarder to make it 34-22 at the three-minute
warning.
The Lions finally got their only offensive touchdown of the game with 59
seconds left when Lulay hit Moore inside the left pylon for the score.
The Lions went for an onside kick, but it was recovered by Calgary and Cornish
iced it with a 16-yard run on 2nd-and-13 for Calgary, which advanced to its
13th Grey Cup Final in franchise history.
