GAMES NOTES: A pair of undefeated teams will square off at Assembly Hall in Bloomington as the Stony Brook Seawolves pay a visit to the Indiana Hoosiers on Sunday afternoon as part of the 2K Sports Classic

Playing at home in their first three games, the Seawolves were able to pick up a trio of victories to get the year off on the right foot. The Seawolves most recently dispatched of Northeastern (73-66) after having dropped Haverford (81-65) and Marist (71-55) in their first two clashes on the schedule. Stony Brook now takes its show on the road. The Seawolves were 13-6 as the visiting team last season.

Indiana has matched Stony Brook as it enters Sunday's matchup sporting a perfect 3-0 mark. On Friday night the Hoosiers were unstoppable as they cruised to a 105-59 rout of Samford behind 26 points from Yogi Ferrell. The win came on the heels of victories over LIU Brooklyn (73-72) and Chicago State (100-72). Indiana, which was a No. 1 seed in last year's NCAA Tournament, was nearly impossible to beat at home last year, rolling to a 17-2 mark at Assembly Hall.

Stony Brook is making its first trip to Bloomington, playing its first game ever against the Hoosiers.

Four players scored in double figures for Stony Brook in the win over Northeastern, led by 17 points from Anthony Jackson. Jameel Warney (14 points, 10 rebounds) posted a double-double for the Seawolves, who shot at a 45 percent clip in the game and had a slim, 18-12, edge from 3-point range.

Jackson is at the top of the scorer's list for the Seawolves, averaging 21 points per game, while netting better than 57 percent of his shots from the floor. Warney (15.0 ppg, 11.0 rpg) is no stranger to filling up the stat sheet either, with his efforts against Northeastern gave him his third double-double in as many games this year. Warney is also a solid defender in the paint as he showed against the Huskies by swatting away three shots. Eric McAlister (8.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg) helps Warney anchor the team on the inside. Meanwhile, Carson Puriefoy (8.7 ppg) has struggled with his shot (.333) but is the go-to scorer off the bench. In all the Seawolves are shooting at a 46.7 percent rate, while holding opponents to below 38 percent shooting.

Tom Crean used just about every player that suited up for Indiana against Samford as 18 different players got at least a minute of playing time against the Bulldogs. Ferrell was the most important player for the squad, which shot at a 57.1 percent from the field, while holding a dominating, 53-32, edge on the glass.

The Hoosiers have been impossible to stop thus far, scoring 92.7 points per game and shooting 46.6 percent from the field. Hopes of limiting second chances for the Hoosiers have been dashed as well as they are leading the nation in rebounds (54.3 pg). Ferrell (18.0 ppg, 4.0 apg) has stepped up as the go-to scorer, as well as a skilled distributor. Lost in the shuffle of his 26 points was the fact that Ferrell handed out six assists against Samford. Noah Vonleh (13.7 ppg, 11.7) has been one of the driving forces for Indiana on the glass. Vonleh was at it again on Friday as he secured a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Although Will Sheehey (11.7 ppg, 6.3 rpg) had only six points against Samford, he is a solid shooter from beyond the arc and is more than capable of providing offensive firepower when needed.

Stony Brook could very well be the class of the America East Conference this year. However, against a strong team from the Big Ten, that may not factor in.
