GAME NOTES: Both the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Clemson Tigers are coming off wins in the Atlantic Coast Conference, and will square off against each other at Littlejohn Coliseum.

Georgia Tech ended a two-game skid with a 79-70 victory over Wake Forest. Still, the Yellow Jackets have won just two of their last six games, and are 3-6 in ACC play this season.

Clemson had also lost two in a row before a 53-49 win over Florida State ended that streak. The Tigers are 5-3 in conference play this year.

Clemson holds a slim 63-59 all-time series lead over Georgia Tech. The Tigers have had the edge recently, as they've won seven consecutive meetings with the Yellow Jackets.

Georgia Tech built up enough of a lead by going on a run that spanned through the intermission to hold off Wake Forest in Saturday's win. Marcus Georges- Hunt led the Yellow Jackets with 23 points in the game, and Daniel Miller chipped in a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds to help lift Georgia Tech to the victory in ACC play. Trae Golden played only eight minutes before leaving the contest with an injury. Chris Bolden contributed 12 points.

Golden is questionable to play against Clemson after injuring his groin in the contest against Wake Forest. He's the leading scorer this season for the Yellow Jackets, averaging 14 ppg on 41.9 percent shooting from the floor. His 72 assists on the year is also a team high. Georges-Hunt is second in scoring, averaging 12.5 ppg, and Miller is third at 11 ppg. Miller, who is the team's active leading rebounder while Robert Carter continues to sit with an injury, grabs 8 rpg and has 50 blocked shots and 25 steals - all team highs.

K.J. McDaniels netted 26 and grabbed seven rebounds for Clemson as the Tigers ended a two-game ACC losing streak against Florida State. Jaron Blossomgame was the only other Tiger to net double-digit point totals in the contest, adding 10 with six rebounds. The Tigers shot 56.5 percent in the second half which allowed them to overcome a 20-17 first-half deficit in the second frame.

McDaniels is having a season to remember for Clemson, netting 16.7 ppg and grabbing 7.1 rpg to lead the team. McDaniels is shooting 46.9 percent from the floor, and is going 85.9 percent from the free-throw line. He's the only Clemson player to average double digits this season, while Rod Hall contributed 9.2 ppg and a team-best 74 assists this season. The Tigers are playing spectacular defense on the year, allowing their opponents to score just 55.8 ppg.

If Golden can't go for the Yellow Jackets, that's a big hit in terms of scoring. Georgia Tech might be hard-pressed to get points on the board against Clemson's defense regardless.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Clemson 69, Georgia Tech 63
