NCAA Game Summary - Eastern Washington at Seton Hall

Newark, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - Eugene Teague and Brian Oliver both scored 16 points as the Seton Hall Pirates crushed the Eastern Washington Eagles, 92-70, in non-conference action at the Prudential Center.

Teague, who shot 5-of-6 from the floor but only 6-of-13 at the free-throw line, also pulled down nine rebounds for the Pirates (8-4) as they won for the fourth time in the last five outings. Jaren Sina and Fuquan Edwin both dropped in 14 points, the former handing out eight assists and the latter capturing eight steals, while Brandon Mobley and Haralds Karlis tacked on 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Eagles (5-5) were paced by Parker Kelly and his game-high 17 points, Tyler Harvey responded with 16 and Venky Jois a double-double consisting of 11 points and a game-high 11 rebounds as they lost for the third time in as many outings.

Eastern Washington led by six points five minutes into the contest, but the Pirates came alive with not only 52.2 percent shooting from the floor in the period, they also knocked down 5-of-7 behind the 3-point line in order to assume a 38-36 advantage at the break.

In the second half Seton Hall blew the game open with 60.7 percent accuracy from the field, offsetting a mere 2-of-9 on the perimeter, en route to the 22- point win.

The Eagles may have held a 38-29 edge on the glass, but the Pirates were the ones with the 27-10 scoring advantage at the free-throw line.
