(Saturday, February 11th) Final Score: T-C-U 75, Colorado State 71 Fort Worth, TX (Sports Network) - Craig Williams netted 20 points to lead the TCU Horned Frogs to a 75-71 victory over the Colorado State Rams in a Mountain West Conference battle at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. Hank Thorns added 15 points for TCU (14-10, 10-10 MWC), while J.R. Cadot contributed 14 points and seven rebounds. Garlon Green chipped in 10 points while Kyan Anderson handed out eight assists. Wes Eikmeier paced Colorado State (15-8, 4-4) with a game-high 26 points on 9- of-14 shooting from the floor. Pierce Hornung finished with 14 points and nine rebounds while Will Bell scored 11 points. The Rams led 38-33 at the intermission after they made a red hot 57.1 percent of their shots from the field including 4-of-6 from three-point range in the opening period. TCU stayed close by hitting 44.8 percent of their field goals and 7-of-16 from beyond the arc in the first half. The Horned Frogs rallied after the break by shooting an even 50 percent from the field and converting 13-of-15 from the charity stripe over the final 20 minutes of the contest. Williams scored four-straight points to erase a two- point deficit and give his team a 71-69 lead with 1:36 left to play. Thorns put the game out of reach with a pair of clutch free throws with 11 seconds remaining before the final buzzer.
