Waddell, who was 5-of-7 from the floor and 7-of-9 from the free-throw line, received offensive support from Leonard Washington and Luke Martinez, who finished with 16 and 14 points, respectively. The win was the seventh straight for the Cowboys (9-1), whose only loss on the year was a 52-44 setback to Green Bay back on November 19th. Colorado (5-4) also had three players post double digits in terms of scoring, led by Spencer Dinwiddie's 16 points. Andre Roberson and Carlon Brown chipped in with 10 points apiece in the loss. Despite shooting a solid 50 percent from the floor in the first half, the Cowboys found themselves tied with the Buffaloes at the break, 30-30. While Wyoming's shooting dipped a bit in the second half, Colorado's accuracy from the floor took a nose dive, as the Buffs managed a mere 33.3-percent effort over the final 20 minutes (8-of-24). Wyoming was able to shot a solid 47.8 percent from the field overall, while Colorado came in under 40 percent for the game (.388). The Cowboys' victory halted a 27-game non-conference home winning streak for the Buffaloes. 12/09 23:58:04 ET |
