(Saturday, December 17th) Final Score: Nevada 71, UC Riverside 47 Reno, NV (Sports Network) - Malik Story and Olek Czyz each had 15 points to push the Wolf Pack as Nevada topped the UC Riverside Highlanders 71-47 in a non-conference bout at the Lawlor Events Center. Dario Hunt recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Wolf Pack (8-3) as they won their fifth-straight game. Deonte Burton scored 10 points and dished out four assists in the winning effort. Kareem Nitoto was the only player for UC Riverside (4-6) to crack double- figures as he scored 11 points. Phil Martin scored nine points as he struggled from the floor making just 2-of-10 of his attempts. UC Riverside trailed 35-22 at intermission after making just 8-of-26 of its attempts from the floor in the opening period. The Wolf Pack made 11-of-29 from the field and 11-of-15 from the charity stripe in the first 20 minutes. Nevada heated up to 60 percent shooting in the second half to extend its lead.
