(Tuesday, November 20) Final Score: Louisiana Tech 71, Chattanooga 63 Chattanooga, TN (Sports Network) - Raheem Appleby tied a career-high with 30 points to lead the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs to a 71-63 win over the Chattanooga Mocs as part of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic at McKenzie Arena. Appleby shot 9-of-16 from the floor and 10-of-12 from the free throw line for Louisiana Tech (4-1), which won all three of its games in the tournament. Kenneth Smith tallied 12 points, six rebounds, and five assists for the Bulldogs. For Chattanooga (1-4), Gee McGhee scored 19 points on 7-of-10 from the field. Ronrico White scored 10 points, and Drazen Zlovaric and Z. Mason grabbed nine rebounds apiece. Louisiana Tech made 11-of-23 from the field in the first half, including 7- of-13 from three-point range, to take a 42-34 lead into halftime. Chattanooga chipped away at the lead and eventually tied the game at 58-58 on a Sam Watson layup with 6:46 remaining. The Bulldogs answered with a 7-2 run to take a five-point lead with just over two minutes to play, and the Mocs could not bounce back.
