Wolfsburg entertains rampaging Bayern

Wolfsburg, Germany ( - Wolfsburg's push for a top-four place will get a significant test on Saturday as the club welcomes runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich to the Volkswagen Arena.

Bayern holds a staggering 20-point lead at the top of the league with 11 games to play, and each week only brings the club closer to another trophy.

The Bavarians have won 21 of their first 23 games without a loss, while Wolfsburg attempts to bounce back from a disappointing 6-2 defeat at Hoffenheim last weekend.

That result leaves Wolfsburg two points adrift of fourth-place Schalke, but the hosts shouldn't expect to close that gap too much as Bayern will be a significant favorite again on Saturday.

Borussia Dortmund took over second place last weekend and has won four of its last five league matches to rebound from a December slump. And Jurgen Klopp's men will be expected to collect another three points at second-from-the-bottom Freiburg, which is winless in its last five games.

Bayer Leverkusen is riding a three-match losing streak in the league and the club will hope to stop the rot at Hannover, which owns just one point from its last four outings.

Schalke was thrashed 5-1 by Bayern Munich last weekend and hopes to bounce back with a much better result at home against Hoffenheim. Schalke sits two points clear of Wolfsburg for the final Champions League spot and has a good chance to extend that lead with a win on Saturday.

Mainz is still in the discussion for a top-four spot as the team sits four points adrift of Schalke, and the club entertains Hertha Berlin on Sunday with the teams separated by two points.

At the other end of the table Braunschweig and Stuttgart square off in an important relegation clash with Braunschweig on the bottom of the league but only three points back of Stuttgart, which sits above the drop zone on goal difference.

Monchengladbach hosts Augsburg, Eintracht travels to relegation-threatened Hamburg and Werder Bremen invades Nurnberg.
