San Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - The San Francisco 49ers signed defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey to a two-year contract on Wednesday.

Dorsey was the fifth overall selection of the 2008 draft by the Kansas City Chiefs and had spent his whole career there.

He played in just four games last year as he battled a calf injury that landed him on the injured reserve in November.

Over 66 games in the NFL, he has totaled four sacks and 238 tackles, along with three passes defensed.
