Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Baltimore Blast goalkeeper William Vanzela was named the Major Indoor Soccer League's Player of the Week for the third week of the 2012-13 season on Tuesday.

Vanzela made 14 saves on 16 shots to lead the Blast to a 15-4 victory over the Milwaukee Wave on Friday night. Baltimore also defeated the Rochester Lancers, 17-11, on Saturday to remain unbeaten through five matches.

The Missouri Comets defeated the Syracuse Silver Knights, 17-10, on Friday for their fourth win from as many games this season to remain the only other squad without a loss.

The Wichita Wings handed Syracuse its second loss of the week Sunday, 8-6.

Following are the 2012-13 MISL Player of the Week winners:

Week 1: Vahid Assadpour, Missouri Comets.

Week 2: Doug Miller, Rochester Lancers.

Week 3: William Vanzela, Baltimore Blast.
