Description: The Marlins are expected to use a closer by commitee moving forward.
Insight: Steve Cishek blew his second straight save on Monday night. Manager Mike Redmond said Cishek will be in the mix, but that is definitely no assurance for fantasy owners there. Miami is also reportedly interested in Rafael Soriano.

Description: Marlins closer Steve Cishek picked up his third save of the season.
Insight: Cishek has struggled this season, with a 7.71 ERA, but hopefully this game will get him on the right track.

Description: Marlins closer Steve Cishek earned his 38th save of 2014 on Tuesday.
Insight: He did give up two hits, and brought the go-ahead run to the plate, but Cishek was able to get Grady Sizemore to ground out, and Darin Ruf to strikeout, to end the game. Cishek has been a steal of a closer this year in fantasy.

Description: Marlins closer Steve Cishek saved his 35th gave this season against the Phillies on Sunday.
Insight: Cishek watched Jonathan Papelbon cough up a three run lead in the top of the ninth, and the Marlins closer nearly gave it right back. He pitched around a hit and a walk as the Marlins escaped with a 5-4 victory. Cishek has a 3.38 ERA and four blown saves to go along with his 35 saves.

Description: Marlins closer Steve Cishek saved five games this week.
Insight: Cishek saved just five games and posted a 4.43 ERA through the first two months of the season, but he has gone 17-for-18 with a 1.48 ERA since the beginning of June.
Hot7/1/2013 10:19:00 AM
Description: Marlins closer Steve Cishek had his best month of the season in June.
Insight: Cishek saved nine games and had a 0.75 ERA and a 0.50 WHIP in 12 innings. He only had five saves and a 4.43 ERA through the end of May.

Description: Steve Cishek has replaced Heath Bell as the Marlins' new closer.
Insight: Cishek has had an outstanding year as Miami's setup man (4-0, 0.63 ERA) and now he's earned a shot at the ninth inning, thanks to Heath Bell's early season woes (11.42 ERA, four blown saves). Cishek might not be the permanent solution at closer but for now he is definitely worth a pick-up in fantasy.
