Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Houston Dynamo and Toronto FC battled to a 1-1 draw in Major League Soccer action at BMO Field on Thursday night.

With the draw, Houston (5-7-3) extended it's winless streak to five games, although it has back-to-back draws to break a three-game losing streak.

Toronto (5-4-4), on the other hand, stays unbeaten at home, going 4-0-3, although it has earned draws in its last three matches at BMO Field. The reds are now unbeaten in their last seven MLS fixtures overall.

The was very little action by either team in Thursday's game through the first hour. But a scuffle between Houston forward Joseph Ngwenya and Nana Attakora after the whistle opened up the contest, as both clubs played with 10 men. Ngwenya and Toronto midfielder Julian de Guzman earned straight red cards on the play while Attakora earned a yellow.

A little over 10 minutes later Ching put the Dynamo up 1-0 when he out-muscled a defender in the Toronto penalty area to head home a Danny Cruz corner kick. It was Ching's third goal of the season.

Toronto's Dan Gargan tied it up in the 84th minute with his first goal of the season. Like Ching, Gargan headed home a corner kick to give his club a share of the points.

The Dynamo are back in action on July 10 when they host the Columbus Crew, while TFC hosts Colorado earlier the same day in its next MLS fixture.
