Final Score: Real Salt Lake 4, Kansas City 1

Sandy, UT (Sports Network) - Real Salt Lake capped off a perfect May, going 5-0-0, with a 4-1 victory over the Kansas City Wizards in Major League Soccer action at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday night.

RSL had four different goal scorers, two on each side of the half, to dominate a Kansas City team that hasn't earned a league victory since April 10.

The home side went up 1-0 just after the half-hour mark when Andy Williams picked up a loose ball before feeding striker Fabian Espindola in the K.C. area. The Argentine then cracked his third goal of the season just inside the far post.

RSL went up 2-0 about three-and-a-half minutes later when Alvaro Saborio tapped home an Espindola rebound from close range. It was Saborio's fifth goal of the season.

The Wizards pulled one back just before the break when Davy Arnaud stole the ball off RSL defender Nat Borchers before feeding Josh Wolff, who redirected a shot past goalkeeper Nick Rimando to make it 2-1.

RSL defender Robbie Russell knocked home a rebound off a free kick in the 84th minute to give RSL a 3-1 lead before Ned Grabavoy closed out the scoring late in stoppage time with his first goal of the season to make it 4-1.

RSL (6-3-1) will try to keep its five-game winning streak going at D.C. United next Saturday, while K.C. (2-5-2) hope to finally get back in the win column at Toronto FC earlier the same day in its next league fixture.
