Final Score: Philadelphia 3, Houston 2

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The expansion Philadelphia Union earned their first road win in franchise history with a 3-2 win at the Houston Dynamo on Saturday night.

Sebastien Le Toux and Danny Mwanga combined for a goal and an assist each in the second half to lead the Union (2-5-1) to just their second ever victory.

The Union opened the scoring in the first half when Shea Salinas knocked a Michael Orozco feed past goalkeeper Pat Onstad in the 39th minute.

Houston (5-5-1) came out firing in the second half, however, and took a 2-1 lead before the hour mark after two Brad Davis free kicks were headed home, one by forward Brian Ching and one by central defender Eddie Robinson.

But Le Toux and Mwanga combined to tie the score just before the 70-minute mark. Mwanga played a ball to Le Toux at the top of the Houston area, and Le Toux fired a shot off a defender and past Onstad for the equalizer.

The game winner, scored by Mwanga in the 93rd minute, was a little more precise, with Le Toux finding the rookie in the center of the area from the right side. Mwanga then slotted home for his second goal of the season to ensure his team would escape Robertson Stadium with the full points.

The Dynamo will aim to rebound from the tough home loss to an expansion team on Wednesday at New York, while the Union play next at Chicago on Saturday.
