Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Edson Buddle scored two goals to lead the Los Angeles Galaxy over the Houston Dynamo at Robertson Stadium in Major League Soccer action on Saturday night.

Buddle has now scored all five of the Galaxy's goals in their first three league fixtures this season - all shutout wins.

Goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts recorded his third consecutive shutout in the win as the Galaxy have outscored their opposition 5-0 so far this season.

Buddle got the game's first goal in the 27th minute before tallying the second just before the break. On the second goal, Buddle took a pass from Sean Franklin and fired into an open net.

The goal came with the Dynamo playing down a man after Luis Angel Landin was red carded for throwing an elbow two minutes earlier.

The Galaxy (3-0-0) will try to continue their perfect start when they host Real Salt Lake next Saturday, while Houston (1-1-1) will aim to rebound at home vs. Chivas USA earlier the same day in their next MLS fixture.
