Commerce City, CO (Sports Network) - The New England Revolution and Colorado Rapids battled to a 1-1 draw in Major League Soccer action at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday night.

Kheli Dube and Conor Casey scored goals on each side of the half for their respective teams, as both MLS Cup playoff bubble teams earned a valuable point.

The visitors went up 1-0 in the 29th minute when Dube headed home a Kenny Mansally free kick for his eight goal of the season.

Casey equalized for the Rapids in the 58th minute after striker partner Omar Cummings drew a penalty kick after being taken down in the area by Mansally. CCasey slotted the PK home - his third-straight PK goal - to move into a tie with FC Dallas striker Jeff Cunningham atop the Golden Boot standings with 16.

Just minutes after Casey's equalizer in the second half, Julien Baudet earned a red card for Colorado, forcing the team to pack it in and settle for the draw.

The Revs (10-9-8) will be gunning for the full points vs. Columbus next Saturday, while the Rapids (10-8-10) travel to take on Dallas on Oct. 17th in their next MLS match.
