Final Score: Houston 3, Toronto FC 0

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Brad Davis, Kei Kamara and Stuart Holden scored in a five-minute stretch of the first half and the Houston Dynamo cruised to a 3-0 win over Toronto FC on Saturday night at Robertson Stadium.

Davis started the onslaught in the 20th minute, Kamara doubled the lead in the 22nd and Holden capped the stretch in the 24th.

Houston (5-2-3) won for the fifth time in its last six games and extended its unbeaten streak to seven. Houston also remained unbeaten at home, improving to 4-0-2.

Toronto FC (4-4-4) lost for the second time in its last three, and has just one win in its last five.

The Dynamo scored two of their three goals on set pieces, with Davis converting the first chance from 20 yards. Davis lined up the free kick from the top right edge of the box and drilled the ball past TFC rookie goalie Stefan Frei for his second of the season.

Kamara was set up by Corey Ashe and Brian Ching two minutes later and he scored from inside the area for his third goal of the season.

Holden capped the scoring binge with an assist from Davis, who took the first touch on the free kick by rolling the ball to the right a few yards. The small pass - Davis' MLS-leading seventh of the season - set Holden up, and he drilled the ball through the wall and into the bottom left for his second of the year.

Dynamo goalie Pat Onstad made five saves for his fifth shutout of the season.
