Final Score: Kansas City 2, Real Salt Lake 0

Sandy, UT (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Wizards improved to 4-4-2 with an impressive 2-0 win vs. Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday night.

Josh Wolff scored both goals for the visitors, his fifth and sixth of the season, to pace the attack.

The win was made even more impressive by the fact that RSL (3-5-1) had been unbeaten on its home field heading into the match.

Wolff got the game's first goal just 20 minutes in when he ran onto a ball played from Jack Jewsbury in the K.C. side of the field. Wolff just beat the offside trap and broke in behind the defense toward RSL goalkeeper Chris Seitz. Seitz charged out and after the ball deflected off the 'keeper, Wolff deposited the ball into an open net.

That was how the score stayed until the 67th minute when Wolff doubled the visitors' advantage. After Michael Harrington broke down the right side, he played a ball into the area to Wolff, who poked the ball past Seitz just ahead of the 'keeper's challenge.

The Wizards will be back in action next Saturday when they hosts MLS leaders Chivas USA, while RSL plays at D.C. United the same day in its next MLS match.
